Our school governors are responsible for the strategic leadership of the school and are actively involved in the life of the school. They meet regularly as a full governing body but also in smaller committee to focus on personnel issues, finance and academic standards at St Mark's.

To help make a positive contribution to the running of the school. To participate in decision making which would help maintain the education and safety of our children to a high standard and to ultimately help our school reach outstanding.

I am a British diplomat working in Lambeth, having spent years abroad in Russia and Brazil. I speak Spanish, Portuguese and Russian and have lived in Kennington for over 5 years. So I care about two things: (a) helping the school to provide an excellent education to the children in its care; and (b) seeking new and innovative ways to broaden the children’s horizons and the school’s connections with the local community.

It has been a fantastic experience so far (for the last 8 years) and I would be delighted to still contribute to the running of the school and help in various ways and continue to be a part of St Mark’s family. Also, as a member of staff it gives me an opportunity to share the great achievement of the school and play a part in how to improve the weak areas.
