Forest School

We are fortunate to have a member of staff who is a fully trained and qualified forest school instructor and she  leads on outdoor learning across the school.  Children across the Early Years benefit from this expertise and have the opportunity to learn in the outdoor environment - make fires, growing fruit and vegetables and investigating for living things in our wildlife garden.

In addition to this, for the past two years the school has been working with local gardeners - Urban Canopy - who come into school on a fortnightly to work with classes.  They also run community forest school sessions based at St Mark's Primary School for children from 0-3 years.
