Anti-bullying week 2024
Anti-Bullying Week was held from Monday 11th November to Friday 15th November, with the powerful theme: Choose Respect.
Throughout the week, children actively participated in various classroom activities designed to reinforce the im-portance of standing against bullying and promoting a culture of respect. During play and lunchtime, they were encouraged to engage in creative initiatives such as writing kindness messages, crafting kindness chatterboxes, de-signing odd socks, and participating in mindfulness colouring—all aimed at fostering empathy, understanding, and positive interactions.
For this year's Anti-Bullying Week competition, children are to express their thoughts on anti-bullying and respect through poetry. This will allow children to reflect on the values of kindness and inclusion in a meaningful and artistic way. Poems are to be handed in by Monday,18th November.
