Fire Brigade Safety Workshop for Oak and Sycamore Classes

On Wednesday Children in Year 2 and 5 participated in a workshop led by London Fire Brigade and learnt basic safety rules in case of a fire.

• You have 6 minutes to get to an emergency
• Test smoke alarms once a month – change battery
• London Fire Brigade website to get a free alarm with 10 years battery
• Candles should always be in a candle holder
• You should use the back of your hand to check if the door handle is hot
• Smoke goes up, so you go down
• Call 999 for an emergency
