Gangs Workshop

On Monday, Year 6 were visited by Saeed, from St Giles Trust, who spoke passionately about the dangers of gangs on London streets. He gave helpful advice, impressing on the children the need to choose their friends wisely and to avoid anything that looks like trouble. He explained the different ways in which gang members might try to befriend children and the consequences in the future. As we prepare Year 6 for their move to secondary school, this was an important learning opportunity as our children grow in independence. Above all, Said encouraged the children to speak often to trusted adults about things that concern them.
