Phonics Workshop

It was great to see so man parents present at our Phonics workshop last week.  Synthetic phonics is a method of teaching reading that involves breaking down words into individual sounds (phonemes ) and blending them back together to read and spell . Children from Nursery through to Year 2 learn phonics using the Little Wandle Phonics programme.
