Road Safety Workshop
Years 1 & 2

Children from Juniper and Oak Class learnt all about the Green Cross Code by practicing songs and actions for 'Stop!', 'Look!' and 'Listen!'.

They also met Muffin, an indoor cat (puppet) who was lost and trying to find its way back to its owner - they helped Muffin to make good and safe choices when crossing roads - e.g. looking both ways and using zebra or puffin crossings to cross safely. 

They learnt about wearing protective gear on bikes or scooters - high vis and helmets. They also learnt about lollipop men/women and how they can help us cross safely.
