Spanish and portuguese workshop
On Friday 15th May we held a Spanish and Portuguese workshop led by IRMO, a refugee and migrant organization for Latin-American people. It was a very interesting session where parents were provided with general information about housing, health services, and the rights that this community have. Thank you to all the parents that were able to attend. Please see below information about their WhatsApp group that you can join to receive updates on events, activities and other services. Click her for the leaflet in Spanish and Portuguese. If you were not able to attend and are interested in some of the leaflets, please contact the school office or IRMO directly.

Welcome morning for nursery and reception
We were delighted to welcome nearly 50 parents and carers to our EYFS Welcome Morning at St Mark’s. It was a fantastic opportunity to share information about life in Nursery and Reception, how to best prepare children for starting school, and to talk through important dates and events for the year ahead.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the morning such a success. If you were unable to join us, please contact the school office for the information and handouts that were shared.

Stay and Play
Thank you to all the parents who were able to attend our last Stay and Play.

Coffee Morning - Autism advisor
It was wonderful to see so many of you at our coffee morning with Kasia, who is a Lambeth Autism Advisor. We hope that you found the session on 'Social Stories' helpful and that you left feeling confident about using social stories at home. Remember to use key visuals, photos drawings or symbols when creating your own social stories, and ensure they are shared with your child during a relaxed moment, rather than in the heat of a meltdown.
