Prayer
At St Mark’s, we recognise the power of prayer and the importance it plays in Christian daily life. Children in school pray three times a day; in the morning, at lunch and at the end of the day.

Prayer monitors are a group of pupils who are responsible for ensuring the prayer areas are well maintained and the bible verses of the week are updated. They enjoy this responsibility and contributing positively to the life of the school.
As a school community, we also offer opportunities for staff and parents to pray. On Mondays, there is a weekly staff prayer meeting and on Fridays, a weekly parent prayer meeting. Requests for prayers are always taken and we pray for each other and those in need.

We pray for pupils and their families when we know they are going through things and the children volunteer to lead and share prayers at regular intervals.
